Douglas Morgan is professor of history and political studies at Washington Adventist University. He is author of Adventism and the American Republic: The Public Impact of a Major Apocalyptic Movement (University of Tennessee Press, 2001) and editor of The Peacemaking Remnant: Essays and Historical Documents(Adventist Peace Fellowship, 2005).
A graduate of Union College (Lincoln, NE), Morgan holds a PhD from the University of Chicago in the history of Christianity.
He is married to Barbara G. Williams-Morgan.
